Foot Dot, Please Help!

HI!
Since my guinea pig passed away recently, I have been making sure my sister's is in prime condition. I have noticed a red dot on her foot. It is fairly large in size, I don't know if she scratched herself or if she stepped in some tomato juice (she loves them). Sorry I cant upload any photos, she is scared of the computer momentarily. Have any of you seen this before? Is it dangerous?
PLEASE HELP! :D

It's hard to snap a picture of her because she is still so jumpy. I will try to get one when she is drinking, as she needs to stretch on her hind legs. ( she thought knocking over her bowl would be fun) :)
