Junior Guinea Pig
We got back today from a day at the Royal Norfolk show to find out that one of our pigaroos is limping. I spotted it straight away, the minute I sat down to say hello... She's eating and when I touched the foot and leg and thigh she didn't cry or make a sound whatsoever, but she wasn't able to clean herself in the usual way, when they just get up a bit on hind legs and clean their faces etc, she had to support herself with front legs. There are no cuts, no swelling that I could see, she still can move her foot and toes.
Everything was absolutely fine when we left in the morning.
My only guess it that it's a bruise or a sprain... Has anyone experienced anything similiar to this? Do I need to take her to the vet? She's eating and popcorned a bit earlier And was usually loud when she heard food it on its way... x thank you

... I'm hoping that is all it is
With Wiebke. When I've noticed limps they are always more dramatic looking on the front leg than on a rear leg. I usually give it a day or so, and if it persists then I get the vet to check the piggy over. We've been lucky that we have had nothing more than a sprain given the way some of them jump off things and speed round corners doing zoomies.
