He is a chameleon :)

And I'm not a huge fan of morio worms either. I spent ages in the reptile shop trying to explain to the guy that morio worms are angry little bugs :))

Really interesting video. I would imagine he's very addictive to watch.

Oooh Colin! Love the way he had one of the ?worms hanging out the side of his mouth!

They bite! Eeeeek! Oooh forgive my ignorance but what's sloughing?! :))

Sloughing ("sluffing", not named after a town in England!) is like shedding. Shedding is like what a snake does, the entire skin is shed in one go. Sloughing is where the skin is shed in pieces :) young chameleons shed, adult chameleons slough :)

Watching is about all he's good for! He's grumpy and hates being touched, he's certainly not affectionate! He only gets handled when he goes to the vets!

Chameleons are very much something to look at but not touch :))

When I have a bigger place my next chameleon will be a male "true blue" nosy be... Google it! Something worth spending hours looking at!

hey COLIN x)
i'm sure he changed colours right? wasn't he like greenish with spots and then ended up stripes? :)
Yes he's a very polite muncher :)

on second thoughts maybe he didn't.......i don't know now @)
watched it a second time, but my OH watched too......he was fascinated!

My boyfriend is keen on having a reptile but I don't think he realises he won't be able to pet it. Colin is beautiful :)

Depends what kind of reptile really.

As bizarre as it sounds, tortoises can be quite affectionate! I wouldn't say chameleons are a "first time" reptile, they're quite different husbandry wise to others!
