goodbye my special fishy man.....you fought a brave fight until finally succumbing to dropsy. Until 2 days ago, if never heard of the disease but boy, is it horrible. I hope you heard me talking to you while you were poorly. Mummy stayed with you till the end. You were so brave
Flash will miss you awfully but with his other brothers and sister, I'm sure he will be fine.
I'm glad you're out of pain now little man, swim free with your brothers who passed before you. They were waiting at the bridge I'm sure.
Mummy can't stop crying as she thinks she failed you somehow....i hope you can forgive me. Miss you already xxxxx
 
You were a good mum, you did nothing wrong, you were beside him all the time, he heard you speaking to him, & felt safe in your arms.
I am so so sorry you lost Gordon.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am sure you didn't fail Gordon, fish are such difficult pets to treat. I had ponds in a previous life and every fish had a different character and it broke my heart every time I lost one, not something many people understand. Sending you hugs. Swim free Gordon RIP.

Thank you. I've heard all the 'just a fish' comments from people I work with....and it's so hurtful I had Gordon for around 3.5 years and yes, a great character. I knew there would be someone on here who understands

So sorry for your loss, all our pets are so precious and mean the world to us and when they leave the pain and hole they leave is unbearable, but happy memories will come with time.
