Hi @Smile124x , I know it's been a while since I last updated you on Ruby and Rosie (sorry).

All has been completely fine and uneventful for them (until now, but in a good way as far as they are concerned).

Rosie is still timid if my hands are in the cage, unless my hands hold food. She is still protective of her food, and still likes to take a bit and hide with it to munch :) She is happy though, actually adventurous in her own way.

Ruby has blossomed into a brave, nosy and very people-oriented piggy. She had the strops in her 'teens' but has now calmed into a laid-back piggy, though perhaps the most energetic one. Ruby (or Ruby-Roo as I call her), loves being stroked on her head, right on her little crest.

The pair of them continue to be on excellent terms with Penny, who is still the boss but a very laid-back one.

Their world expanded last week, following the unexpected and sad passing of Oreo, Freddie's bonded mate, we introduced Freddie to the three of them, thinking perhaps I could pair him up with the one he got along with best. It turns out that it's Ruby, but all of them get along just fine. After some initial mild bickering for a couple of days they have all settled, and now all four live together, having the entire cage to be in now. This means Ruby, Rosie and Penny have an extra two levels, Freddie has an extra three.
Freddie and Ruby have become firm friends and tend to spend much of their time together. I caught Freddie giving Ruby a face-lick the other day and they tend to sleep near each other.

Rosie made me laugh. She made initial submissive signs towards him, but on moving in together she put Freddie in his place from the get-go (and since relaxed with him). She immediately claimed all of his favourite sleeping places and she is not afraid to push him out of the food bowl, or anywhere else for that matter. Still, that's calmed down too, I just think she wanted him to know his place! Somehow he seems to believe he is the boss - he's not.
Penny is perfectly fine with his company.

So yes, they've had an upheaval, a change, but it's a good one as far as they are concerned, and for Freddie it has alleviated his grief for Oreo. They enjoy having a choice of hay-trays now and extra snugglies. Right now as I type Freddie is in a soft hidie on the left, Ruby in a soft tunnel to the right, Rosie stretched out between, but it's usually Ruby with Freddie. Penny is sleeping in a soft bed the next level up.

I have not had their cage extended into the run since they all got together - making sure they are all truly a team first, which I believe they are now, so will get their run out tomorrow.

Here's the latest one of Rosie who loves the fact that there's another hay tray in her world:)

Haha know what you mean about not being able to resist. We get through a LOAD of corriander in this house.

Yesterday they went out into their run for the first time since becoming one herd of four.

Just thought I'd post some pictures of them happily doing their thing and munching on Redigrass :)
