For You Pedro

Pedro would be very proud of what you are doing. Very proud indeed and is most likely popcorning up there with joy knowing that his mummy and daddy are giving 3 beautiful piggies a great life like he got to enjoy. It's always hard loosing a piggy and even more so when it's your first one- I'm the same with my lovely sow Vinnie the Guinea. It broke my heart when she had to be pts and I admit I still get teary sometimes now. I very nearly said no to owning piggies again after the loss of her but Mo and Steve have shown me that the pain at the end is worth it when you can look back and say -"I gave them a happy and healthy life where they were loved 10000000000% and more!" I always say that if it was love that cured ailments, my pets would live forever.

It is so hard but the heartache does lessen. You will then be able to recount tales of the funny things he used to do. I've lost so many in a lifetime of caring for my animals and they all, individually hold a special place in my heart.You'll get there David and your new girls will help immensely. x

Pedro will always hold a very special place in your heart as he was your first piggy. He left a Pedro sized hole behind when he hopped off the the Bridge. I’m sure he’d be thrilled to see the fabulous palace you’ve built in his honour to house your new 3 ladies. Popcorn free Pedro xx

Your new three girls will be great guinea pig therapy and help you look back more happily on your memories of Pedro. They could never replace Pedro but will help you look look forward to more piggie adventures

i know they will. I miss Pedro and reason why we are carring on cos we love piggies. Lookin forward to seeing you soon. xx
 
I'm so sorry for your loss, the new set up looks gorgeous and i'm sure Pedro would be very pleased with you giving a loving home to these new girls. It's always hard losing a beloved pet, I still miss my cat everyday even after a year of her passing.

Thank you. We miss him so much. What was your cat called. i had a beauty of a cat called GERTRUDE tho he was a boy. long story. He was 21 when he moved to rainbow world. loved him. xx

Her name was Iddy, she was 18 when she had to be put down with kidney failure last year. I miss her very much. She was my best friend.

I know it's sad. I think a lot about him as you do Iddy. Reason we miss them is cos we loved them and well personally I owe him so much. xx
