I have read that a number of you forage for your piggies.
I’ve always been wary of this as I’m uncertain as to whether just washing in cold water will remove any dog wee or other stuff that would harm my girls.
There are some wonderful dandelion leaves in an alleyway near the river that I like the look of but ....

Is a wash under the tap enough?

And just because I love them a pic of the girls doing what they like best - stuffing themselves.

a thorough wash under cold water is ok, if your worried you could always oven dry them

l forage alot ,having 42 piggies, but l wonn't risk picking from known dog walk areas.l pick from field egdes were it high banks ,never pick were there are gate ,fence, sign, marker posts, dogs and foxes will mark these. allyways are shore to be use by dogs, cats and humans,so really not worth the risk.
