Foraging for nettles

Out the back of my house are lots of stinging nettles . I read on a thread that the leaves can be fed to guinea pigs. But how do you do the process ? I know How to strip the plant without being stung .

Do I just get the leaves and leave them to dry in the sun ?

Yep, hopefully anyway . I ordered a returned phone , just hoping it's in the condition the seller said it's in.

I've got a smelly washing machine problem now . But Il fixthat tomorrow
 
Easiest way to do it is just cut the plants at the base, tie them in a bunch and hang them upside down somewhere, they can have the whole thing not just the leaves :)
But I'd imagine if you just want to do the leaves then spreading them out in the sun would work.
