Forgetful piggie!

Ok, so every time I get home from work, I find penny snuggled in her pillow with her blanket over her and it's not til I come up and sit on the couch and hang out with her does she go .. Oh there's the hay! She bolts to the hay and her pellets and munches down real fast. She's mental. Is it normal?

Is she an only piggy? That would explain her behaviour.

Guinea pigs are group animals and are often very timid when on their own, especially of they are very young. If possible, please consider getting her a friend; you will enjoy the antics and vocal interaction that two piggies get up to and that makes them so unique.

Yep, we're getting her a friend soon from a rescue place where she can choose her own friend in the end!

at the moment you're her piggie friend, so when you get home it's like......hey i'm going to eat are you too?
