So Berry and Thimble, my survivor from the lethal litter went to their new home a few weeks ago when Thimble was around 8 weeks old. Grown up into a lovely big, fuzzy sheepy!

A few weeks ago, i took on two pregnant mummyies from a hoarding situation, both about 9 months old. The first, JJ, a little disabled piggy ( she hops like a bunny and is a very good chooken legger!) had her 3 pups 2 weeks ago today.

l-r : Trilby a baby sow, mummy J, Jackson the boar, and Eve.

Both of the girls trying to squeeze under her.

And then, yesterday, the second sow, Gizzie gave birth to 5 pups and a sow, she isn't proving top be the most attentive of mothers, which is worrying for her her tiniest baby.

Gizzie:

Heath, the biggest boy 92g

Brax, the next biggest at 86g - such a gorgeous boy too!

3rd heaviest is River, 80g

tbc ...

Kiki, the only sow is next at 60g ... she is the least outgoing (shes also Trilby's doppelganger!)

And the last but certainly not least is tiny Casey, who is only 40g. He is the tiniest little speck of a piggy, like a russian hamster! He is getting supplementary feeds from me, as well as alone time with his mum away from his siblings. (Heath is a bruiser or a mummy's boy who pushes the others out of the way for the milk bar)

He scoffs his extra milk and bran, and trundles after the rest with steely determination and a very loud wheek! Having to try very hard already to convince myself he cant stay if he pulls through :(

Gosh, they are so tiny. Lots of love to them and mummy piggies, they are all beautiful x)

Casey's gorgeous i too would want to keep him its good job you dont live near me drool also really love his name reminds me of chicago fire the tv series. All the piggies are absolutely lovely. x

Aww a lovely story, hope that Casey continues to thrive with the extra attention. I think I would be tempted to keep him too.

Oh these piccys and piggys are so gorgeous. I love the ones of the stripey chair! Oh Casey is such a tiny little thing, he needs to grow into his feet. Xxxxxx

You are a very busy piggy granny! Fingers firmly crossed for little Casey! I hope that you can pull him through.

What pretty little piggies. I think Brax & River are my favourites aswell as little Casey. I hope they all thrive. :)

Busy dosn't cover it! I'm not getting up for work at 5, rather than 6, then when i get home at 5.30 i am then with this lot & my piggies until around 7.30. Then it's cat dedication time, until i got to bed, when i get casey out for his last meal ... before I'm up at 5 to start again! Good job i love them!

On a plus note, casey's weight loss is now decreasing, and he even had a go in the food bowl with Brax and Kiki. between me and my Mum we've managed to get him latched onto his mum for about 4 feeds ... unfortunately she is one of those piggies who has been left very traumatized by having pups, and she seems to have only worked out what on earth they are this evening.
