Yes Zithromax is the best one for abscesses. I don't know about Cat Metacam, I'm afraid, I've only had the dog one. If you feel he is in pain you can ask for Tramodol for him as well, or ask about a review of the Metacam dose :)

I did but they said they cannot go higher as it'll be an overdose which is fair enough. I don't think there is a painkiller developed specifically for piggies. Poor little munchins are a bit forgotten:(
