I will do... I will have another feel tomorrow and try and describe it better!Just keep an eye on it. Unless is it starting to blow up and grow very quickly, it is a regular opening hours issue.
Is it sitting loosely in the skin or is it firmly attached to the body?

So I had a feel tonight... it kind of feels like it is free moving and like a spot under your skin would feel. I can pinch it on her skin and it comes with the skin if that makes any sense what so ever!Just keep an eye on it. Thank you... will ring them Tuesday xTake deep breath - this usually means that it is a harmless cyst which you can have vet checked at their convenience during normal opening hours.
Me too... hoping it's nothing bad..xAw, hope she’s ok x
thanks... i will see what they suggest,.. xxTry not to worry too much. Ginger my skinny pig has two lumps. One on his back which is a sebaceous cyst and one on his stomach which is a fatty lump.
The vet said just to keep a check on them and to take him back if they grew or started to bother him.
Fingers crossed for Winny.xx

well the first dose of Baytril didn't go down well..... I dipped the syringe in some squash then managed to get it in her fast, then she did a little shudder as if to say ' What the hell was that? '![]()
I thought she might be... I had coriander at the ready for afterwards! XThat's what Christian's reaction was too! I had a bribe ready after. Winny will be more wary of the syringe next time. Good luck!
I hope the lump is nothing serious.
Thanks... i am having a feel each day and hope for no significant changes! One of my other piggies had mammory tumours...they were all removed whilst she was in the rescue...so all I saw were photos after her op...Bernie has a little free moving lump next to one of his nipples. I'm keeping an eye on it. But it has bern felt by our vet and she wasnt atall concerned. This was about 2 months ago. I dont think its a mammory tumour. Fingers crossed. Hope your pig is ok
They are supposed to be more common in males from what i read. They make the nipple swell dont they?Thanks... i am having a feel each day and hope for no significant changes! Not sure, I have no knowledge of them to be honest.... I think it was spotted by swollen nipples..They are supposed to be more common in males from what i read. They make the nipple swell dont they?
No knowledge is sometimes the best way. The more we know the more we worry. Best to let a vet worryNot sure, I have no knowledge of them to be honest.... I think it was spotted by swollen nipples..
Bill had two mammary tumours removed in October. I thought there was only one it was tiny but Simon found another which was a few millimetres. When he squeezed his nipple it bled but was never swollen. They are supposed to be more common in males from what i read. They make the nipple swell dont they?
