cuddles

this morning i went out to the shed and was greeted with 2 little faces 1x chocolate and white and one cream and white.both little girls.then after lunch there were 2 more faces(to a different mum) 2 more sows 1 chocolate dalmation and 1 cream .one of the mums is very skinny they are looking after them fine though.We only have 8 pregnant rescue sows left to pop here now
 
How about theming the litters?

Ie: Christmas names, Valentine theme, movie film, tv programme

We were recently in the same situation. The thought of how many extra minipgs can come from the 8 is scary.

Wishing them all easy births with healthy bubs.

I'm in a similar situation here and have made it simple by introducing an alphabet theme. So I start with A and then the second letter, as an example:

Aaron
Abraham
Ace
Adelaide

etc. until I'm through! There's a great website that helps,

and it tells you what the name means too. So our old boar Abraham, who is the father to most of the other pigs that came in recently - his name means 'Father to the multitudes' - very appropriate!

thanks for all the names! no we have no snow over here it is actually extreemly hot lol.I had 3 born before xmas and they are tinsel,star and santa lol little santa has found a home.I also had 3 5week sows come in at 8.30pm last night.They are abbyx and are roan so lucky they did not get bred from.Pics are on the way :)
 
here are the little ones.would swear the two creams are related.must have the same daddy

awwwwwww I have gone all funny! Should be getting dressed and takin dogs for a walk..... Babies do this to me every time! x)x)x)x)

And mummy is a VN as well, very lucky piggies

Nice plump babies! It was only when I read the comment that I realised that there are two creams - at first glance I thought it was two pics of the same pig. The two creams are Dalmations too.

They must have the same dad? I thought it was two pics of the same babies too!! They are lovely. You could call one set Coffee and Cream!

lol yes they look like twins but have different mummys.the creamys dont have spots on them but may have a little roaning when they get older.The two mums came in together so highly likely that who ever dad is is probably dad of all.
