After a long vacation we're all finally home. I was a little disappointed they didn't do crazy happy laps and popcorns to be home... but oh well. I feel like popcorning (but not at the prospect of work tomorrow...)

Freja fits in with the group well. I think she might be the least dominant. We'll see what happens as they get comfortable with eachother and at being home :)

Sharing some Oxbow :)

Welcome back home!

I found that most guinea pigs don't show much emotions when they come back home. It is more in the way they relax... So don't be disappointed!

PS: You have such a gorgeous group of girls! x)

:)) Bo just gave you the evil eye... I'm a boy, he says :(|) (give or take a few body parts... two to be precise)

Awww, your pigs are so lovely! :)

I agree with Wiebke, not so much excitement as grateful relaxing back into the usual routine... Mind you, Porthos used to travel with me all the time and he just accepted that as long as he had a nice big cage to relax in then he was happy!

I have cleaned/washed everything and rearranged most things, do you think they still recognise it as their old home? We've been away since before Christmas...

They are adoreable. I love the brown/tan coloured piggie. Such unusual colours.

They are all gorgeous, glad freya has settled in quickly! Bet they are glad to be home, mine always sulk after a journey give it a day or two and they will be back to normal! :))

Woo hoo and what a lovely crew and wow all lined up nicely for a pic :(|) great to see them all together hun.

They are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful! x)x)x)x)x)

They are gorgeous! And I see what you mean about our matching fleeces! LOL! I am terribly envious of their set up though. I really wish mine could have a set up that big. Well, I think mine is a similar floor area as mine will be 9ft x 2ft once the 2 cages are connected but yours is a better shape as mine is long and thin. I'm guessing they are similar anyway as I have half in each cage whereas yours looks like it is in once piece.

Glad you got home safely and everyone is settled in.

Freja is a very pretty girl, but I admit to having a soft spot for Chicken! She's lovely x)

I love the second picture. It looks like they're having a bit of a meeting and can imagine Bo saying.. 'Okay, so this is our pad. The hay is over there. Over there you'll find the water bottle... ' :))

Just for clarification... Bo is a manly man (he doesn't know he's neutered, I think :) )

Left to right Bo, Martha, Freja and Chicken

Modwyn, they are just lined up because I bribed them with pellets :)

Redfrock, their area is 2 m x 120 cm, I don't know what that is in feet, but I'm glad I found that blanket as normal fleece throws are not big enough to cover the whole area.

Little Piggies, what a funny caption! He should have showed them the water bottle! It took them ages to rediscover it...

I'm loving your group they are all gorgeous, so glad they are home and looking forward to lots of pigtures ;)!

They are such a stunning group of guineas. Really. Freja looks like a real sweetie. x)

And every time I see that fleece, the more I love it too.
