My mum has been talking to an old country gentleman, and he was saying that the best deterrant there is for foxes is human hair, bunched up and tied/fastened near hutches and runs. The fox thinks a human is not too far away and goes elsewhere. Got to be worth a go? Anyone heard of this?

Mm never heard of it personally. Not chopping my hair off for the foxes though ;D ;D

;D Me neither! But with me and my two daughters, our hairbrushes are always full of hair so I might try it, as daft as it sounds

Hugh Fernley whittingstall used it round his chicken coup in the River Cottage series , I seem to think it worked.
