fractured leg

do i feel bad :( trixi is 15 months old but has bad sight and i think is a bit mad in the head. she has a habit of hanging over the edge, really is bad for it. well yesterday i put in the food and made sure i lifted trixi to the inside of the bowl for safety but no she moved so quickly.

out she come and fell on top of snowball, who is a big pig :) i think if she hadn't hit off snowball she would have landed ok. well she looked shocked, snowball just carried on like nothing had happened ;)

trixi was holding up her leg. lucky for me my vets don't close til 7 and it was 6.30. gave them a call and they told me to get her right over, which was good of them.

well £90 later trixi has a nice blue stocking on her leg :D she has a fracture on the bend so hard to treat, they have put on a dressing to help and i have to take her back wed :)

i felt so guilty.................

just got bubbles out of living room, now i have trixi living in ;)

if it wasn't for my piggies I'd be rich in cash but wouldn't life be boring with out them and empty
 
aawww noo :( Poor piggy! And poor you! Blimmin attentions seeking piggies doing death defying stunts to impress us! ::) ;D

Ive never seen a piggy with a little stocking on! Bet she looks so cute! Do you have a pic? :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
 
They're quite easy to look after, till they get ill ::) How does she feel about the bandage? Mine have never liked them. Does she have a painkiller (I broke my knee and it killed!) Is she eating OK?
 
no pics yet, bubbles has been keeping me so busy and now trixi, i'm not well but that's hard luck isn't it ;D will try to get some. she can't move now she has stocking on, before she could move at great speed on three legs ;D

eating well , i think she is being spoilt. doesn't seem to mind the bandage and has pain killer.

think she will have to make new friends when better and move in with the bottom girls.
 
poor love.

best wishes from all of us that she gets better very soon. A pigture would be lovely .....!
 
I think its probably better if she cant move as at least she wont be putting any weight on it :-\ awww bless! :smitten:
