Well as you all know Fred isn't the bravest of pigs, anything but. He is friendly but never fully calms down, he's always a bit wary.

Well anyways when I have the pigs out for laptime I sit them beside me, stroking them and speak to them. Anyways I had laptime fun tonight and for the FIRST TIME EVER, Fred lay beside me with his legs sprawled out!

I am so impressed with him! He's turning into a big brave Pig :))!

This is 7 months of hardwork... I think we made some major progress!

Awww - great that you've been rewarded for all your patience - well done to you and Fred xx>>>

Congratulations on your special moment!

It is times like these that make rehoming shy, traumatised piggies so rewarding and make up for all the months of patience and perseverance! Thank you for sharing it with us.

Its wonderful when you gain your piggies trust. Such a little thing can bring such happiness.

Well done Fred....
Charlie was a very nervy piggie when I got him not handled much and It is soooo rewarding that he now comes up to me when I go to his cage and that he loves cuddles and when we first got him you couldnt move within a 10 foot radius of his cage without him darting away and hiding for hours
I agree it makes me swell with pride that the love and attention we give makes them like that :)

It's times like this that make it all worth while.
