I haven't seen Fred come out in his run in so long (approx 2-3 weeks) he just stays in his house occasionally he may move into his litter tray to eat his hay but that is only when he thinks I'm not there!

Last night I couldn't believe it he jumped onto the top of the bridge and kinda ran about... he popped his head out first and then came out and ran though his tunnels... think he was planning the route to the food bowl and then sat eating for about 2 minutes and went back to his house.

I know he does come out cause every morning his veggies are put at the end of the run and when I go home they are all gone!

I don't think he is personally too scared of me, I have him out all the time but he seems to be extremely shy and timid but when he is out he just sits and gives you kisses ie licks and squeaks!

Now when he is out freelancing he tend to just run in his cage I think he's bonded to his house! rolleyes

Random Rant over lol....

Poor boy is feeling lonely!

Just wait until he has company, and you won't recognise him again! :)):))

He's been through a lot lately, I think he's still recovering from the ordeal and just settling back into the life he had before.
Hell when I go past the cage Robin is generally either hidden or sitting in the same spot (probably cause he's eaten all the hay that's meant to be his bedding!) and Hamish is hiding. Sometimes they're both out but if I walk passed they get all jumpy and hide.

Hamish is a gem to get out, so easy and just sits there. Robin I still have to effectively chase round the cage. But when they're out they're grand!

I think it's just his piggeh nature to remain secretive. Though more than likely when the two beloved ladies enter his world he'll be too loved up to remember to hide :))

Well they are used to being quite low down the food chain so it's understandable that it takes a while to gain their trust. My 2 are going mad just now - hormones! Pablo is getting bolder every day though :)
Yeah - wait til the girls get there - it's gonna be sooo exciting!

Thats great. I'm sure Fred will keep growing in confidence...

He'll definitely feel better once his ladies arrive. Glad he graced you with his presence. Mine need serious TLC as they have been left to their own devices for about a week now while i'm snowed under. Going to be serious cuddle time when it's all done.

love watching them grow in confidence, sounds like he's doing well
