Freddy and star

We picked star up on sunday and put his hutch next to freddy but didn't hear a peep from either of them, so today i put them in the pen and put some netting inbetween them but star was that keen that he managed to sneak underneath the netting lol.So abit earlier than we planned freddy and star have now been introduced lol.Apart from the usual noises from freddy and the usual humping things went really well. Was really funny to watch seeing star trying to mount Freddy as he is so much smaller but neither of them wanted to give up lol. Were going to introduce them a few more times yet before putting them in the same hutch but so far so good :))
 
I am! I am always interested to read about introducing boys as we have 3 here at the moment, 2 of which can play together but live side by side (Tiger and Jeremy). We will be getting Humphrey from Helen next month and I want to introduce him to Scruffy, but am worried about them not getting on.. Scruffy has lived with a couple of other piggies but they both died when still very young so he has lost his cage mates. He is only 1 so I hope him and Humphs will be pals.
It sounds like Freddy and Star have taken matters into their own paws! Are they still getting on OK?
 
Put them together again today,there still trying to mount each other but not as much (think stars weakening lol).
They were alot more vocal today,yesterday they were just focusing on whos the boss, whereas today they were chattering away to each other.
Really hope Humprey and Scruffy get along,god i was so worried about putting freddy and star together,kept thinking that freddy would hurt star.

Some of my pairs of boys that have been together for ages still enjoy the odd hump. Men eh?
 
Glad it is all working out well for you boys :) It always seem to be more stressful for us LOL
 
Just been out again together for 3 hours and still doing well.Freddy only tried to mount star a couple of times , they were busy following each other around and even more vocal then yesterday.It's great sitting there listening to them.I actually felt guilty today putting them back in there seperate hutches as they've started talking to each other from there hutches.Star is also getting more confident and is starting to come out of his sleeping area more.How many more introductions should I do before letting them stay together?
