My mum has rang me from Germany tonight to let me know that Freddy her 7 year old boar has died this morning. He has been ill for 2 weeks with a bladder infection. He stayed at the Vets several nights then came back home to his girls. But by then he had stopped eating and only drunk almost constantly so my Mum squeezed cucumber, tomatoes and carrots but he was not interested. He went to sleep this morning at the Vets.

My brother rang me about ten minutes later to tell me that my Mum's new boy will arrive in the morning. He is spending the night at the Vets after having been neutered. The Vet had rang my brother after Freddy died, she had made a phone call to a woman who's guinea pig has had babies and ask her if she could have one to give to my Mum. My brother is picking him up in the morning. My Mum has no idea! How nice are some people!!
