Hi love now first off don't panick xx>>>xx>>>
what bedding is Freddy on? has he been on anything different lately?
and most of all, sending him HUGE piggie kisses and manly brrrrrrrrrrrrr's from Duke and loads of loves from me xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>

when we got the hutch it came with some straw, which i had to use as i didnt have enough bedding to fill it as i didnt realise how big it was lol, thinking back now it did look a bit sharp, i wonder if he could of scratched it, his other feet are ok and star is fine.

Gorgeousguineas.com do a perfect paws cream that help soothe sore feet.
As long as his foot isn't cracked or open in any way this cream might help....

This is probably the start of bumblefoot. This is an infection in the pad and can make the pad become ulcerated, as it did for my piggie. There are many posts of here about treating this. I would bathe the foot in chlorohexidine solution twice daily. Even if it is not an infection it would keep down any swelling. The cream from GG is very helpful and used it my piggie had bumblefoot on both front paws. Email Chrissie the pictures and she will advise you. She was very helpful when I was speaking with her. Good luck.
