Is there no longer a section for free ad guineas looking for homes? I have found an advert for hairless guinea pigs free of charge. As these need specialist care it's worrying as to who they will end up with.

Freeads are always worrying, especially when it comes to hairless, imagine who they could end up with :-\

What scares me is the fact that I know for a fact there are people out there who will take them on and breed from them to make money which is why it's so important for a rescue or very skinny-knowledgeable home to get them where they can live out their lives without fear of being a breeding machine.

There has been a new sticky created in Rescues specifically for Freead piggies.

I agree. It seems to be quite fashionable to have skinnies :-\

Or where they trying to con people out of money? I've heard about people doing it with puppys on free ads.

Why are people so stupid?

They were advertised as free. What a strange thing to do, doesn't make sense.

Ah right, someone has too much time on their hands!

I think it would be better if people had to pay to put ads on, it would sort out the genuine people from the nutters!
