Free pet at P@H

I went into our favourite pet shop today P@H, and bought a Peter Gurney book for £4.99 and guess what? Inside the book cover on the first page was a little wriggly MAGGOT. Buy a book and get a pet maggot for free, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry :-\

I have to admit I would have too lol can't stand wriggly beasties :o
...I wouldn't complain though they may try to charge you for 'live food' ;)
 
Yestreday I found something that looked like a maggot in the piggies bedding. Was surprised because it was after I had cleaned them. ?
 
having a maggot in a book is disgusting says a lot for their cleanliness, I'm a vegetarian so could not even think of trying it ugh gross

I didn't really try it you know ;D I am sorrythough, I screamed and squashed it in some tissue paper, suppose I could have put it outside but I was so shocked. There was even maggot poo in the book :o
 
Blee! I too would have screamed and jumped two feet up in the air.

But one thing confuses me; how on earth did a maggot get into the book, and why on earth did I fly lay his egg in a book?
