I did a thread a few months back asking about the toys your little ones have. After spending a small fortune on wooden chews, bell balls and wicker stuff, the toys that get the most attention and a huge amount of popcorning are toilet roll tubes with hay stuffed in and boxes with holes in! They go mental for them!
Thanks to everyone for your great toy ideas to keep them out of trouble. :D

All fun and games until gus jumped on top of the box and squished it. Wish I got that on camera. His little face was so funny. It's back up now and reinforced with cellotape.

Haha that must have been funny!

I couldn't agree more ! I don't use toilet rolls because of where they have been ( just one of my quirks - sorry) - but I use the used kitchen roll tubes. I have some Timothy Hay which is a bit too spikey to go in the cage loose. They go nuts for it - just a bit of hay and cardboard !

Mine love a sheet of brown paper pegged onto the side of the cage. They go mad chewing on it and love to tunnell under it. Also paper bags

Try a screwed up bit of paper too, they love that! I've caught one of mine throwing one around before.

Mine also love cardboard boxes! When we have a delivery at work each week I hoard the empty boxes and bring them home, its like Christmas has come all at once for them!

I also stuff hay in toilet roll tubes and I also thread a bit of string through the tube stuffed with hay and hang it up (just supervise them with the string, we dont want any pigs hanging themselves or chewing it! Mine have not tried to eat it but you never know with pigs!)

I also put some treats in a piece of paper and then screw it up and they push it around until the treats are shaken out.

I sometimes think my pigs are more like dogs...
