Free roam time - barriers

We love having our girls free roaming in the kitchen but need to block off the arch into the dining room (just under 2m). At the moment we end up using random assortments of boxes etc. Any good ideas for something we can easily fold away? Dog ones tend to have fairly big gaps between bars and also are much higher than we need. Would love to know what people use for similar set ups :-)

Good idea, thanks - will maybe cable tie so can fold up :-)

I have a long 'wall' of C&C grids that I have cable tied together so it folds flat. I use it as a barrier when needed but also as a temporary pen or cage.
It's really useful.

I use C&C grids cable tied together too. They are also useful as a holiday pen if I take them with me.

Also I have c&c grids cable tied together. I use them to make a quick pen when my boys have to come indoors.
