When you let guinea pigs roam around the house, do they go the toilet everywere or in 1 spot ?

i wish they did go in one spot lol no mine tend to go where they like lol{:|:Ayociexp113:

where to poop

if you have the patience of a saint you can toilet train them, but otherwise they just let it rip where ever they feel like it. fun and fancy free! also if you are going to free roam your piggy, i suggest you lay down on the floor on your stomach and look at the room from a piggies perspective. then you can see if there are any dangers like cords, cables,
mice traps, as piggies loooove to poop and to chew. good luck with your piggies xx>>>xx>>>xx>>> and the free roaming.

my piggies run free in the living room every day, I just leave the cage door open and when they want to go to the toilet they jump back in. well most of the time!

All except 3 of my pigs are toilet trained which is great! i didnt teach them I guess they taught each other. They go on the lino on some newspaper.I dont let mine out too often as my cats get terrorised and chased!

piggies chasing cats

thanks cuddles for the laugh, now have to clean PC as i spat me coffee out picturing a gang of piggies chasing cats :)):)):))
wondering what your cats friends think:{:{:{ again thanks for the laugh, tough critters have read people's hamsters pick on their cats too. it is just so funny to me, my cats would love my piggies for breakfast, lunch and tea, maybe it is just mine?:)p:)p

Fugly is the same never trained him he just does it of his own accord, about 98% of the time he is such a good boy :<>:<>

Mine tend to go to that one spot where the first piggy decided that's the toilet spot in the house....they all follow!

Ha, the neighbours cats are getting chased by the rabbits when they enter the backyard.....who needs a dog?!

My big boys go everywhere too! though the little ones aren't too bad and dont leave many parcels. i tend to put towels down now if i can and it makes it easier to clear up, especially as beanie likes to wee everywhere too mallethead

Normally mine aren't too bad - they will run back into their cage to do their business but occasionally there are a few slip-ups (but more poos than anything) :(|)

I think if i let mine freeroam they would do it anywhere, hence why i dont :)
