Junior Guinea Pig
I have ¼ or so of a bottle of Uriflow tablets left over with an expiry date of November 2010. I’m happy to post these out to anyone wanting to give them a go on their bladder stone pig. I don’t want anything in return for them, chances are whoever takes them will already have spent a fortune on operations etc. and I’d rather they go to a good home.
I’m passing them on because my poor pig Charlie was put to sleep on Thursday. He’d been very brave and recovered from two operations back in April. I’ll never be sure if the Uriflow helped in his case as he was on a combination of remedies, but his squeaking did finally stop for the last 3 or 4 weeks.
I wasn’t expecting him to recover fully and he’d lost almost half his body weight but he was still eating and happily hobbling around the living room. When I got up on Thursday I found him lying down, unable to move his back legs. He’d stopped eating and wouldn’t hold his head up anymore. He’d been through enough and I didn’t want him to have any more tests done
