Hi guys
What do people do with freezer blocks in there can you pick cages i.e. What's the best way of wrapping them so the bedding doesn't get all soggy
Any tips would be great :-)
I also have small bottles of water but I'm about to put in the freezer that I can put inside socks so that's not so much of a problem as the blocks
Thanks for your help in advance and I hope everybody is pigs are safe during this ridiculous heat

I wrap my freezer blocks in a tea towel.
The piggies haven't actually gone anywhere near them yet, but at least they are there if they want them.

I use a tea towel around my blocks but find they dont kick out much coldness for long. I've now moved on to avoid 2.5ltr coke bottle wrapped in a towel to hopefully lower the ambient temperature as my pigs don't go near the blocks either.
Bottles only work after mid week when there's less grub in the freezer!

I didn't think I could trust my boys not to chew them so I haven't used freezer blocks. I just use empty water/lemonade bottles filled with water and frozen.

I used to wrap them in tea towels but Jon Snow has decided that tea towels are edible, and so I now use an old fleece cut into small squares big enough to wrap around a bottle.

Most of my pigs have never laid next to them, but do lay near them. Jon Snow loves them though, and lies directly on them sometimes.
