Freezing water bottles

I found a solution - you probably already know this but i will share anyway

My bottles have been freezing so have to change and thaw lots more at the mo.

had an idea, wrapped the bottle in a sock

that seemed to work but ice was still forming so not perfect.

so i added tin foil. Put battle in sock, wrap in tin foil and then fold sock back over

gives a perfect and cheap insulating jacket

Great idea, I use bubble wrap on mine which works too

yes i have heard bubble wrap then a sock over that is even better,i would be careful with the foil if the pigs manage to eat any of it it could be very dangerousxx

mind you the sock should work as a repelland - no animal is going to eat my socks

My piggies live in a shed but before I had such luxury I always used bubble wrap and a CLEAN sock !!!
