PigglePuggle
Senior Guinea Pig
Snowing here, and minus temperatures forecast until Thursday- hope everyone is keeping their precious piggies safe and warm!
I've had the oil filled radiator on in the piggy room all afternoon while I'm working at home, at bedtime we'll have snugglesafes in and extra fleecy beds and the central heating on a timer for half an hour every 3 hours through the night.
I've also cancelled Blod's lump removal operation, I didn't need much persuading after our recent piggy loss to postpone a non-urgent operation on a probable sebaceous cyst- it's really not the weather to be shaving off my special girl's floofy pyjamas and have her recovering from anaesthesia in sub-zero temperatures!
Blod seems to think, if I had more piggies, they would chase each other round all day then snuggle up to keep warm at night, thus saving me money on the heating... she also says if I gave her an apple she could generate heat much cheaper than a gas boiler... clever Blodwen, I will certainly take her money saving advice, lots and lots of chubby piggies will keep us all warm!
