Well weeds just grow anywhere lol
As for plants, carrots are great fr home growing 'cos you can chuck them in pots, and they can eat the green tops too! Just watch out for carrot fly, if you plat them in pots I don't think they should get them
Things like cabbages, brocoli & brussle sprouts are also good, as you can eat them too, then give the outer leaves to the piggies, they do take up a bit more room though. Lettuce (obviously the right type) are easy to grow, can be grown in pots or the garden, come up pretty fast, and you can pick just a few leafs, or the whole lettuce.
Tomatos are also good for growing, but some need a bit more attention, like side shooting and they also take up a fair bit of room.
Because my garden here doesn't yet have any grass, I'm always on the look out in hedgerows etc for suitable food. I came across this site http://www.freewebs.com/guineapighutch/cavycare.htm which has a full list of edible stuff. I think it's a US site, so some of the local names may vary but I've found it really helpful.
