Fresh fruit and veg

Hi everyone, how much fresh fruit & veg do you give to your piggies? I picked up the girls the other day and I am weighing 25g per piggy, twice a day. The issue is, one seems to do the rounds and eat from all bowls and the others don't get that much! I know it's just a treat, but I would like to treat them equally, if possible.

50g per pig is enough. Don’t give fruit daily though, it should be a very occasional treat.

I scatter feed veg around my piggies cage so that they have to forage for it - it means it keeps them occupied looking for it but also so that no one piggy can get it all as they both have to move about to find it

I agree with Piggies& buns ... just scatter the food around - this is better than using a bowl anyway as they search for it and this is more like their natural behaviour

Thank you, I am yet to fed them fruit but I will probably only do it a couple of times a month, maybe as a treat from my hand (if they ever get that close!). I will start scattering the veg so everyone gets to have some in the end. Thanks!

I feed mine on a skewer that I attach to the bars. Several pigs can eat at the same time. Any leftover uneaten food doesn't go mushy under a pile of hay, that way.

My Finn and Lara get three servings of veggies a day, which translates to about a cup and a half per piggy.
I started out giving them half a cup three times and just stuck to that routine. My piggies are used to having three meals a day by now.
