I've always loved your photos Wiebke but these videos are something else.
It's a real treat to be able have an insight into the daily lives of your tribe members
A bit like watching a 'piggy soap opera'.....'Pig Enders' or Pignation Street
'...........
It's really cool because I'm watching the video going 'ooo there's such and such' and 'what was her name again?' and 'this is the bossy one' and 'that's the shy one who didn't want to eat with the others for ages' and it's great because I know a bit about your piggies! So thank you!
Ahhhh your Guineas are gorgeous,i love the long haired black and white one especially. They even get the run of your house They come to you when you call them just like children, you have a special gift.
Hay should be the mainstay of piggy diet, but it can well be that yours are from a place where they didn't get any, so they may not be used to it. Perhaps you can try different sorts of hay and hide treats in it, so they have to eat some hay in order to get at them?
I have had Jack for 4 years, since he was a baby. Every week or two he will have a day when he empties the rack, then it will go untouched for days on end.
I have had Ruffle for 2 of his 4 months of life. He got plenty of hay in the pet shop and has plenty available here but he doesn't seem to eat it.
I change around the types of hay regularly but there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when it gets eaten.
I love seeing vids more than pics and you can get a proper sense of the piggies.
I love the fact your tv stand has been changed into a hay heaven! They are very lucky piggies.
