So on Friday night I was on my 4th night shift and was VERY weary, in fact I don't think I could have been any more tired while also maintaining consciousness. I was looking after a lady who had just had a caesarean section (I'm a midwife). She was really tired and the baby was crying so I said 'pass the baby to me and I will settle her in her hutch'. Cue - red face, feeling REALLY stupid and having to provide a piggle related explanation!

That's priceless .... :lol!:

Haha, I'm sure we've all had times like that XD I remember once in the PE changing room I told a friend "goodbye, love you". It's the usual thing I reel off to relatives but as you can imagine that didn't go down too well XD

Lol - yup - one of the girls at work said that to me at the end of a telephone conversation when I had phoned her at 9pm one night to tell her she had taken the drug cupboard keys home with her!

Lol! Sounds like me when our son was still a baby - I was so tired, I served up dinner and put the baby bib on my husband who just sat there speechless! :))

Try this one for embarrassing... I was at work giving a speech at the start of a tour, to an audience of over 100 people and instead of saying "here we have dumbledores costume" I said "here we have dumblebums costume" last time i name a pet after a harry potter character *must stop calling my little dumble - dumblebum*
