Mine all Love mint.. Though it is kinda expensive right now so they haven't had any in quite a while

It's the first thing I've given them that they've not eaten haha, they're not usually fussy! ah well more for me:tu:

mine love the bistro salad from sainsburys it has lambs lettuce , red chard, bulls blood chard! and beetroot in it i hope these are all ok for piggies? the also love the pea shoots from sainsburys.

cucumber , celery , spinach , rommaine lettuce , carrot tops, but their absolute fave is curly parsley!

Thanks:) We tried them with Banana but they didnt touch it. Also with lettuce and they loved it! Can't wait until we get to try more things with them x

Gosh isn't it fun trying things out! I've discovered the things they really love they run away with, the things they like a lot they squabble over but eat in situ, the stuff they are ok with they just eat non-chalantly and the stuff they don't like they bat out of my hand with their paws and look at me as if to say "we know you can do better than that!

I think banana can cause constipation, so it might be one for a rare treat?

I have been amazed by how much mine love fresh herbs, it's wonderful to watch them hoover up a stalk of coriander, dill or parsley :-)

Banana causes loose stools in rabbits, I don't know about piggies though.

I don't feed my piggies any fruits at all. It's not too good for them.

Vegetables, mine go crazy for greenbeans, celery (especially the top), coriander, cucumber, peppers in all 3 colours, lettuce and green leaf.

I occasionally give dill as a treat too.
I did give parsley but it caused one of my boys problems so cut that out.

I've wondered about the theory of foods being bad, but I ask myself what would a wild piggie do if they found it? The answer is, they would eat it, so in small amounts fruits aren't bad.

Can Somone help my little 8 week old boy will not eat carrots or lettuce or leaves ?

It takes them time to try new things. So long as he's eating pellets he's getting some of the vitamin C. Try gala apple or oranges, those were the first mine ate

Mine cannot get enough celery and pepper, cucumber is also nice and soft and easy to nibble. A stalk or two of fresh coriander or parsley, if you cook with herbs, are fragrant and hard to resist. Don't worry, I'm sure your little one will find his appetite soon!

Mine love kale, parsley, carrots, cucumber, celery leaves (not so keen on the celery itself), broccoli, lettuce, parsnip, pear, pineapple, grapes, raisins, and oranges. They don't mind peppers, cabbage, cauliflower, bananas and apples. They rarely get fruit though, probably one very tiny slice of one type of fruit each, every 2 weeks or so.

What fruit and veg do you feed your piggies? Two new piggies have moved in with us so I'm doing a fruit and veg shop. We know they like carrots & apples, they don't seem to be touching the cucumber. Any ideas of what I can get? Thanks:) x
My pigs love kale but don't feed to much and parsley which is easy to grow for them and lettuce but don't feed iceberg lettuce
