well hi again, i seem to be on here constantly moaning! grrrr

well ive contacted rescues to help me but everyone is too busy/full etc which i totally understand as I'm sure its crazy but i have no where else to turn now so either one of my piggys is going to have to go back to the pet shop (i dont want this as i wont know where he will go!) or be pts as i wont just re-home him alone to anybody who doesnt know what they are doing :( i know its bad but i can now 110% see why people leave their pets outside rescue centres, i used to think those people were cruel and evil for abandoning their pets but i now think that many maybe desperate owners who have asked and begged and go no-where and instead of doing something like let them free to roam/pts they leave them where they know that when they are found they will be taken care of! I'm not saying at all that i will be leaving any of my pets in a box but i can now see from the otherside iygwim!
i just needed someone to help me bond them back as i cant do it! i think its too late now tho as mr.bean tries to fight through the divide now in the run :( so yh this is just awful, ive had some horrible news recently and am having the most rubbish time and this in not helping :( what else do i do?!

Don't panic, don't take them back to the pet shop I'm sure piggy bank can help you locate a rescue. I see you are in high wycombe are you willing to travel to a rescue or do you need transport?

I am sorry you have not been given the help you need. There are many people on here who I am sure will be able to take your piggies in and care for them. It would help if you make a thread in the rescue/re-homing section. Post photos of the piggies with a bit of information. I am sure people will help you so please do not worry.

Would a solution for you to be a rescue take both boys and attempt to find one a friend so you can adopt the friend, but sign over the other boy to find a new home for? Or do you want both to go into rescue?

I know your having a rubbish time but pts/ petshop will make you feel even more rubbish. There are people willing to help and will, please respond to us so we can help you. Adult males sometimes decide they can't be together and they can go on to be neutered and paired with a female at a rescue - which would be a nice life for them. I know you have really really tried to make it work, but lets work together on getting the best solution for you and your pigs.

If you're willing to accept help we will find a way to get your piggy to a rescue :)

sorry been trying to sort out everything else, i would be willing to travel! if one could be paired then that would be amazing and one rehomed? or they both go back thats fine! i just want whats best for them and us, I'm open to anything i just need help! :( i will email now, thanks so much everyone, I'm literally on my last tether :( x

Have you suggested to rescue that you do a 'swap' so arrange that you will adopt a suitable companion for the piggy you are keeping and then they take the one you need to re-home. Then their numbers will stay the same and you will solve your issue?

I hope you get this sorted, there are some rescues i can recommend who would be able to boar date your boys. If you need a hand in any way then PM me. Or contact Suzy.

x.

(just realised you cant pm as you havent posted over 50 posts yet)

Well Mr Bean is currently with me here in Crawley. He is a lovely lemon agouti with a little longer hair at the back. He was allowed to spend the night by himself and then this morning I have tried him with a boy called Itchy. Similar size but Itchy is slightly more submissive. All so far good, no teeth chattering, just alot of humping to sort out who dominance, they are now in a large cage in the sitting room with no other piggies about so now to watch them for a few days to see what happens.

Oh that's good. Was there a swap? Did purple-piggy get a friend for his other boy?

I have the other boy Mr Sniffy, and he has been paired with Mr Scratchy so they are called Scratch and Sniff! hee hee

They are doing well, Mr Sniffy is a very sexual beast but things have calmed down. Currently in my living room so I can keep my eye on them.
