Feeling I haven't been giving enough attention to three piggies lately. I've had them out for floortime for at least two hours nearly everyday, but they've become rather lazy as I haven't been changing their cage and toys up enough. I've also been going through another heavy depression session so my mind's pretty blank on what to do. Any ideas on how to spice it up for them? Thanks :D

Sorry to hear you've not been feeling good, depression is horrible.Perhaps you could do something simple like stuffing hay in toilet roll tubes or putting veggies in them.Mine seem to have fun trying to get them out and also paper bags are good for them to play in.There is a thread in one of the sections about toys etc.Maybe someone can find a link for you.Hope you start to feel a bit better soon xx

You have some very spoiled piggies! As they get older, they become a bit lazier...

However, if you lack ideas, you may find this thread here helpful: Guinea Pig Toys

Ah thank you! I'll browse the threads and try your ideas :D
I think my oldest boy, Ginny, is about four years now! That went by rather quickly

The older guinea pigs get, the more they sleep and the less often they play around - with some notable exceptions!

Mine love paper bags, and there's veggies that you can hang down from the cage roof. To be honest mine love having their run out, they get all excited about it, then just poddle around not really doing much. They do love a tray of readigrass in their run, it entertains them for a while on and off, and the rest of the time they tend to just stake out a spot there and nap! :)

Depression can be hard to deal with. I wish I knew what to suggest. Do you have anyone close that you can confide in?

Ooh I have some paper bags! I'll try it :) I tried the roof idea before, but made the mistake of putting a bulky carrot in that swung around wildly first. I'll do that, thanks, and make sure to attach a lighter piece of food to it :P

I've been going to a therapist for a bit and it's been getting much better; I've been getting a lot of support. :)
