Hi I'm new here, so you won't have seen my piggies before. They are called Fudge and Rainbow and their birthday is 23rd January. They are nearly 5! My big girls! They were bought from my local petshop. Anyway, here's piccies of them both- i don't think i need to say which is which, i think you will have already guessed! :))

Then this is a picture of them with there brother Dougal - he belonged to my friend. He lived with a rabbit (which i don't recommend) When the rabbit passed away, he was stressed so they bought another guinea pig for him to be with-Dora but then Dougal died - R.I.P so then they got 2 more guinea pig friends for Dora. All 3 of her guineas are doing well, i'm just so dad to know that Fudge and Rainbow's brother isn't here anymore. :( He died when they were 3. xx
He's the one far right. I love this picture. x

Hi! You have some very pretty girls!

I am sad that their beautiful brother Dougal died so early; he was obviously a little Ridgeback "dinosaur".

Aw what pretty girls! Your Fudge is very similar in colouring to my Willow x)

Sorry to hear that Dougal died young :(

Hi they are beautiful I am particularly drawn to fudge :(|)

They are evry pretty girls and poor Dougal was a real darling. They look real characters and to live to 5 you must be a very good piggy mummy. Hugs to your pretty girls and RIP Sweet Dougal. xoxo

They are lovely piggies, thanks for sharing pictures of them!

I did notice that their nails seem very long in some of the pics (Rainbow in your brothers arms, and the pic before it), do you trim them regularly?

We used too, but the vet advised us not too because they grow inwards. :( I'm trimming them today though, i don't care what the vet told us! :))

You're right to ignore the vet - not sure I'd trust that vet too much if he advised against trimming their nails, most adult piggies need it doing at least once every 4-6 weeks! Many vets also offer this service routinely so it's unusual to hear of a vet who doesn't think it's a good idea. mallethead
