could somebody tell me at what age my guinea pig will be fully grown ? also, do they all grow to roughly the same size or can they vary greatly in adult size ? my little ones are only about 12 weeks old and are still tiny compared to adult size - i can never imagine them being that big !

Guinea pigs usually stop growing between 12-15 months old when their hormones come to rest and they are fully adult.

Body weight does vary widely - between 800-1800g depending on the breed. Average is about 900-1400g; that is the reason why we can't give you any charts how much a piggy should weigh at any given time.

Normal is that piggies grow between 30-50g a week during the first few months and later slow down. What you do not want to see is weight loss.

It would be good if you could get into the habit of weighing your piggies regularly; it also helps spotting illness and serious health issues early on.
