After a mild heart attack this morning as I found Dennis has escaped the hutch, I spent 5 minutes on my hands and knees speaking to the underneath my hutch before I finally persuaded (with the help of a long stick) Dennis into a hidey so I could put him back in the hutch. I'm glad the neighbours weren't watching!
 
Oh god, eventful morning for you! At least you got him back safe and sound 😊
 
They’re such good escape artists given half a chance aren’t they?! Glad he’s home safe now :)
 
I shoved loads of hay in the hutch last night cos it was cold and didn't lock the door properly and the hay fell over and knocked the door open. So it was my fault. I think it may have had something to do with the large vodka I had last night!
 
Speaking of escape artists our Rosie has learnt how to climb out of her C&C cage and annoy the older lady living in the one next door. Not quite sure how she's got sustained an injury from her antics, but her enclosure has had to be doubled in height to contain her 🙄
 
If I remember Dennis correctly, he is the super cute one on the pictures.
Glad he is not harmed by other animals and you were able to get him back.

I don't think he was out of the hutch on his little adventure for too long as he was happily nibbling grass next to the garden bench we have (which is about 6" from the hutch) and not much of it had been nibbled and he didn't feel cold and there was a frost this morning and the temperature outside the hutch was around -1C.

They are escape artist aren't they lol i watched a youtube video of a pig straight up jumping out of a cage and it was a pretty high cage to lol

I just know when my piggys get a little older i'm going to have my hands full. :D
