I have a female pig, Georgie, around 4 years old. I had noticed she was balding in patches. Not on her face, mainly on her belly and underside. There is no redness and she doesn't appear to itch or be in any pain.
I had initially thought of mites and treat her with ivermectin.
I am wondering if it could be something else? perhaps a fungal infection of some kind?

Is it a long haired piggy because they can drop off more hair then short haired piggies.

Can we see a photo please?

Hi Viktor, no she is a short hair.

Possibly could be hormonal as underneath and sides... Has she seen a vet vet?

Hi Viktor, no she is a short hair.
Can we see a photo please? At spots where he is losing hair. Since it's a short hair I really suggest checking out a vet to make sure it's nothing bad.

You can use the vet locator if you need any vet: Vet locator

Here are a couple of pictures.

Yeah I shall try to sort it out. It seems to look in line with Ovarian cysts.

That's hormonal :( Recognise the signs too well having had a piggy in the past who had the same pattern

Very much agree with hormonal. If she has patches on her belly as well it could be self barbering, my Bea did it when she had cysts

Yeah she fits the symptoms. Lost some weight yet not in the rear. Losing hair and a crust around nipples which are also enlarged. She is acting completely normally thus far and hoovering up food as usual. Is it permissable to wait some weeks and save in order to pay for an operation?
