Further to my previous post I am pleased to say that my little guinea pig is well and truly on the mend. For those of you who suggested a fungal infection you were right, and now with the correct treatment its so much better. He is back to his normal self, and doesn;t scratch anymore AND his skin is healing/. So happy for him, so thank you all.
 
I am glad that your little one is so much better and healing well! You must be so relieved!
 
i can't even tell you how relieved I am. Once the treatment started it seemed to be an almost instant relief for him. Its great to see his skin looking better, I can feel new hairs coming through, and he is back out running about in his run!
