One of my guinea pigs, Ollie, has this white stuff on the outside and the inside on one of his ears. I just noticed it yesterday. He also has a pretty dry coat in general.20180218_182406.webp 20180218_182324.webp

Hello and Welcome to the Forum.
:wel:

The problem with his ear is impossible to properly diagnose from just a photo, but it certainly could be fungal.
As fungal can be quite infectious and spread quickly I would pop him along to a vet, and take his cage mate (if he has one) as well.
A vet will be able to make a proper diagnosis and also prescribe the most effective treatment.

But if it is fungal it looks like you have spotted it super early so hopefully it will be easy to treat.
Ollie looks like a beautiful boy - we would love to see a photo of him

My guinea pigs had ringworm it was a nightmare giving them medicine I hope you don’t have to syringe feed

Looks fungal. Whereabouts are you located? We may be able to suggest a cavy savy vet

Here's a picture of him. :) Also, thank you very much for the help.

Update: I found another spot on Ollie. It is on his back left leg. There is very little hair growth and the spot is raised and crusty. I'm guessing this is related to the fungal infection. I sadly don't have any vets I can take him to in my area, so I'm going to try treating him with some anti fungal and anti dandruff shampoo along with some Lotrimin (for athlete's foot). There are no signs of mites or ringworm at this point. I hope everything goes smoothly, as I have had Ollie and his cagemate Wilbur for about 3 weeks now. They are only 3 months old.

Ringworm is a fungal infection so would look like this. Also mites are not visible to the naked eye so it would be impossible for you to say for definite that he doesn't have mites. If you give us your location as @sport_billy suggested we may be able to suggest vets in your area.

We don't recommend home treating when you don't know what you are dealing with for definite. Shelf products are often not strong enough to combat conditions and by using these products you could be partially clearing an area that then makes it more difficult for the vet to diagnose correctly. Also if you treat for the wrong thing you could make matters worse and more uncomfortable for your piggy
