One of my guineas has a fungal infection. He has had it before and I've always used GG Manuka and Neem shampoo which clears it. This time his skin is quite pink and sore looking in places. I shampooed him yesterday (much to his disgust!) but there is still alot of dry scaly skin left. When should I shampoo him again? Also what's the best thing to put on the sore patches? I have used sudocrem on all sorts of sore patches on various guineas in the past and it always works so is this ok to use or is there something better?

GG make a lavender and myrth (sp?) lotion which is very good for calming irritation and also helps healing.
You could also buy oragnic baby nappy rash cream (I think Maryh usues the one from waitrose) but personally I have not used this before so can not say how effective it is.
Hope this helps and that the little ones are feeling better very soon!

The GG Lavender & Myrrh is really good, I've used that in conjunction with the Super Souffle and it worked a treat :) Have you tried the CocoNeem Melt? I think that's supposed to be the one that does the real magic for fungal and then it's followed up (I think) once a week for the next three weeks. You do the Melt, leave for 20 mins then wash it off thoroughly with the Manuka & Neem shampoo. I would contact GG and ask Chrissie for her advice as she's been a huge help to me in the past.
