would it be possible for one piggy in a trio to have a fungal infection?
itching, biting at fur or just barbering? as other two are not doing this.
fur pulls out very easy when tugged?
can't see any dandruff.
any help ideas and help please!

Yes.Some pigs never get fungal problems, others are born with the condition and it is managed not cured, plus all of the possibilites in between..!
If I have a pig fungal problems I do not separate it from the rest. As the group is exposed to the same environmental factors then moving the affected pig away from the rest will not decrease the risk to the others by any appreciable amount.

Fungal problems can be dealt with by systemic treatment ie drugs or topically by shampoos.
From your description the condition sounds fairly mild so it is worth trying shampoo initially. You can buy dedicated g. pig shampoos, however you can also buy human anti-fungal shampoos. The two popular types are Alphosyl and Nizoral,
The "secret of success" is to remember that you are treating the skin, to this end the shampo needs to be left on for 3-4 minutes before rinsing off. There are other threads on skin problems so it would be worth you looking at those for a broader outlook.

Interesting to learn that some pigs are born with fungal issues. Since I got her at three weeks old Saffron has never had healthy skin, she's constantly fungal despite using various shampoos routinely. She's not at all itchy, but very sensitive and her feet always have a degree of evident fungal on.

Oh yes, Gorgeous Guineas are SO helpful, I've recommended my vets look at the site, the photos are more detailed than anything in their texts books.
