I was prescribed a week's course of mycozole spray for my girls, and have been using daktarin active cream on the patches around their eyes and nose. I also gave them an Imaverol dip, and am going to repeat this tomorrow. 3 of the girls are looking good but the worst hit one still has scurfy patches/is losing hair. The itching isn't as bad (she made a patch above her eye bleed and scabby after persistent itching) but the hair loss is still happening. Any thoughts as to why only one of them is still affected? She's eating/drinking/pooping/peeing fine, just doesn't seem as bright as the others. I've washed all their bedding at 60 degrees and wash my hands meticulously. Any advice great fully received!

With ringworm, the affected hair has to come all out, so for a while it is going to look like it is getting worse instead of better. Please continue with the imaverarol for another two rounds; that should do the trick. You cannot hurry it on. Right now, you are in the middle of the tunnel, but rest assured that there is a light waiting for your poorly girl!

You can give her extra vitamin C or metatone to give her immune system a boost and help her to fight off the fungus.

Take heart from the pictures in the ringworm thread - they have been taken over the course of a month in real time.

I've only been treating them for about 2 weeks now, so I guess I've just got to keep calm!

Yes keep calm if you can (easier said than done I know) as you are only half way through the treatment.
