We went to the Piggy clinic today in Broxbourne so some of our pigs could have a general health check and Thumbelina also saw the vet for some hormonal bleeding.

Fuzzy went so she could have her hair clipped now the weather is warming up which can lead to fungal issues if her skin gets too warm. Unfortunately we were a bit late and she already has fungal so we will be treating with baths and Imaverol dips for the next 4 weeks. Anyway, I thought it may help to show the photos of the fungal for future reference. There is also one after her hair cut, it may look a bit extreme but she will be much cooler now which is also important as she is a heart pig.

I'm sorry to hear you are fighting fungal, Helen. Sending healing vibes. Love the hair cut though! The pics are very interested and give a good idea and what to look out for! Thank you :)

Thank you. Our herd have a bit of a history with fungal so luckily we have everything to hand already.

Forgot to add, she is also being treated for Parasites which were clearly visible too.
