Noticed a little something on Pippins ear last night.. looked liked a scratch as seemed to be a bit of blood there maybe.. this morning in proper light it looks a bit crusty, dry and about the size of a 5 pence piece.. i am thinking fungal? I still have some Imaverol in from the last ringworm attack.. should i give them both a bath ? I know they hate it but the ringworm pippin had before was awful .. 20160702_181636.webp

I'm not too experienced at fungal so I couldn't confirm if it is or not.

Is your piggy scratching it? If not, I think if they were mine I'd wait until I could either speak to the vet that prescribed the Imaverol, or see the vet.

Sorry I wasn't much help.

Please have it seen by a vet. It looks like fungal to me. The recent warm and very damp weather means that fungal infections have ideal conditions.

Went to the vets this morning and they said possibly fungal, taken a sample and i will be bathing them tonight... wish me luck !
On another note... please don't be offended if you have a dog but there were loads in the vets today sat in the cat waiting area ! My poor piggies were terrified.... and i am allergic to dogs... two came in that were the size of a small horse lol !
