I knew my craziness would come in handy one day. When my piggies were about 5 months old ( my first set) I used to turn the bedroom light off in their room snd sing them a soft song and say shush shush till they went and settled. I now have 2 other piggies, who live divided by a bar, next to the other two. I have now found that when they all get a bit narky with each other, if I sing to them softly and say shush, they all calm right down. Ha madness paid off lol. ( wish it helped me to pick them up, that is still a bigggg no no.

The things that we do. I always pull their bedroom door shut at night and wish them a good night and pleasant dreams :)
Me too. They are so special, I love them, just makes me a little sad that although they come up to me, take food from me, even on my lap, I just can't get to pick the little ones up. The bigger ones will go into a raffia bag and I pick them up from there, but the 6 month old ones, I can't get hold of no matter what I try. My husband can do it, but they are just too quick for me, or jump over my hand if in a corner. Tried snuggle bags, tubes, box over their hidies (everything) I'm too nervous I think.

They really are, and I feel so cruel trying to grab them, when they so don't want it. I would love cuddles, but will only take them if the piggies ever feel like offering them, it will always be down to if they ever choose it and come and sit on my lap. Its only to do a health check that I need to hold then really.
