Jess
Adult Guinea Pig
I just have to share this story because it is beyond hilarious.
It was a raining day and I left the trio (Rory, Abigail and Maggie) with the OH, they all seemed quite happy on his lap, Rory laying on his side and the girls watching TV.
So anyway I've finished the clean out and I ask how they are, OH stares at me and says 'Maggie has loads of lumps in her belly.' I frown at that thinking she didn't have those when I last checked her over, and so I feel her belly.
It clicks to what these lumps are... I say to the OH while stroking Maggie 'those aren't lumps that her poop stored up, it's nothing to worry about.' He intern looks at her and feels her belly and is like 'oh...' Now the reason I didn't panic is because both Abigail and Maggie are shy piggies, they do not poop of even pee when having lap time and I remember because at the vet she said Maggie's belly was full of poop and food, also the lady at the rescue said the same thing.
Aw bless my OH worrying about the piggies!
